Mineral and Nutritional Insights
The mineral and vitamin scan is completed using a non-invasive, handheld diagnostic device that uses spectrophotometry to measure the levels of minerals, trace elements, vitamins, and heavy metals in your body's tissues.
How It Works
The Scan: A portable spectrophotometer is placed against four points on the palm of your non-dominant hand.
Light Absorption: The device shines a light beam into the skin to measure the optical density and light absorption signatures of different chemical compounds in the tissues.
Instant Results: Patient data (like age, height, weight, and blood type) is entered into software and sent to a secure remote server, generating a report in minutes.
What It Measures
Minerals and Trace Elements: Checks levels of essential nutrients like magnesium, zinc, calcium, and selenium.
Toxic Heavy Metals: Screens for tissue accumulation of harmful metals like lead, mercury, arsenic, and aluminum.
Vitamins and Oxidative Stress: Evaluates select vitamins (such as A, C, D, E, and B-complex) and markers for cellular oxidative stress.
Limitations and Considerations
Tissue vs. Blood: It measures intracellular tissue levels in the skin rather than circulating blood or excretions, offering a different perspective on what’s happening in your body.
Not Diagnostic on Its Own: The device is designed as an analytical screening tool to help guide nutrition, lifestyle advice, or supplementation—not to provide a definitive medical diagnosis.
Using your results, we create an individual plan for you. This may include nutritional suggestions, natural supplements, and homeopathic remedies to support your body and improve your vitality.
Pre-scan Requirements- Before your scan you will need to know your blood type, and I will take your height and weight for an accurate reading. Children who wish to have a scan done need to be at least 70cm tall and weigh a minimum of 10kg.

Important information: The vitamin and mineral scan is a non-invasive wellness assessment that provides information relating to selected minerals, trace elements and metals. It is not a substitute for medical diagnoses, conventional laboratory testing or medical treatment. Results should be interpreted in the context of your individual health history and, where appropriate, follow up with your healthcare professional.
